📋 How this works
- CCS (Child Care Subsidy) is based on combined family taxable income. Starts at 90% for income ≤ $85,279, decreasing 1% per $5,000 bracket.
- CCS is applied to the lesser of the actual hourly fee or the hourly cap ($14.63/hr for centre-based care, 11hrs/day).
- Kingston Council fees: $161/day (kinder, first 2 days) or $171/day (additional / under-3 long day care).
- Free Kinder: Victorian Government offset of ~$2,050/year for eligible 3–4 year olds in long day care kinder programs.
- Rates are based on 2025–26 FY. Actual costs may vary — check with your centre.
